A boy named Ben wants a pet so his mom says maybe. One of the boys at his school pays him to take care of his pet lizard for a few weeks. He goes to the pet shop to get a mouse then finds out that he is supposed to feed her to the lizard; and that's what changes every thing. He is turned into a mouse Amber, the mouse, and his whole life changes.
A great book that a was recommended to me by a nine year old.
